Recently, we've had an increase in password protected archives being uploaded to GoPut.IT. We need to be clear that we don't allow anything to be hosted which breaks the law. We do a quick check on what gets uploaded to make absolutely certain that what you're asking us to host isn't something which breaks our rules. Because we aren't able to access these files to determine their contents, and in some cases the size of the archives is quite large, we can no longer accept these files.

The bottom line is that if you upload an archive that is password protected, we will delete it. If you do wish to host legitimate content inside a password protected archive on the site, please do so and then e-mail the password to jdkeogh@live.com which will allow us to check the contents of said archive, and be satisfied that the contents aren't going to cause an issue.

Any previously uploaded password protected archives should be deleted within the coming days.
